hey, it worked !!!
thanks, Fapper ! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
got a little more complicated question(s) for the computer whiz kids out there. i noticed that when i burned the bin/cue into the cd, it took only about half the cd space. is there a way to still use the unused part? is there a software that takes care of that? would altering the cue file do wonders?
the reason i ask is this:
the software i burned is composed of a lot of CDs. (it's actually a tutorial.) i've downloaded and burned 1 so far. i'm thinking if one bin/cue combination takes half (or less than half) a CD space; why not put two in one CD?
and what if i use a blank DVD instead? would that be possible? (that way, i may have the entire software in one physical disc instead of several.)
thanks again in advance ! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Then what you need to do is download some ISO software, open your ISO, add the files you want, and then re save your ISO file...I use WinISO myself...

another good program is UltraISO.
Unless you need to have the autoboot/execution functions that the images provide, there is no reason you could not use one of these programs to extract the contents into folders and the just burn as data files until the media is filled.

thanks for all the input, guys! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
i guess i could just burn the files into a DVD to conserve space, but then, i would lose the autorun function.
...is there a way to keep the autorun function if it's all burned to a ingle DVD ?
why don't u guys just turn this thread into a full blown CD/DVD burning tutorial ?

you can full the disc with more files only if the bin/cue or iso file was created right (for example the image of Hirens boot cd does allow to continue multisession), obviosly for burning several cds into a dvd and and use the autorun function of everyone of them you should search and download for a program to create an autorun menu (i cant remember of a name for those but i've seen severals)

you can also just burn the bin/cues as such on one dvd and mount the images one after one to a virtual drive.
alcohol does that quite well.
