I have a scanner and when i scan files they come out as a .tif file.
I need a program with a *crack* that allows me to scan files to pdf format. I need to be able to scan multiple pages into a single pdf file.
I got this program called "scan to PDF" which is great except i can only scan in 1 page. It wont let me scan multiple of pages into 1 pdf file.
any suggestions and links would be great guys.
thanks in advance

Grab a copy of Adobe Acrobat, which will install the PDF Printer and the Distiller...You should be able to open .tif files with Acrobat, and then save them as such...If I am not mistaken, there is a version in the AFS Software section...

another alternaive is to install CutePDF which functions as printer you select like any other. Scan your docs, open them up in a viewer app and print to the pdf file

Hey since this thread is about converting files to .pdf, instead of making a new thread, I'd like to ask how do I go about converting files read by Zinio reader to .pdfs?
Yes, I said Zinio......once things start rolling the eBook subforum will be receiving a fair bit of content from moi.............

The Zinio format is what Playboy uses to send their digital magazine out, and currently, I don't think there is a way to alter the format, but its been a while since I've checked...
