OK - I need to clear up some space on my hard drive, and that means slowly dumping mp3 files on to discs. Easy enough. However, I want to be able to locate files and/or artists and/or albums easily. To do this, I intended to use a spreadsheet or database but i don't want to enter all of the information into it manually. Is there an easy way to copy the file name and tag info to clipboard and then paste in excel?
Any good software to do this? Any good FREE software to do this?

You want to locate and find the titles you copy onto CD, right..?
If that's what you mean, grab that little program I posted in the AFS the other day...It will do this:
From there, you can create a searchable HTML directory...That program is pure awesomeness, works through your tags, and is EASY to work with once you get the hang of it...

If that's not what you mean, you can do the same by using a directory lister program, and list the contents of your directories before you burn the discs, and do the same thing...

In other words - it's slicker than... err..... nevermind, you get the picture.
Thanks Ayhja!
