As some of you may or may not know, Kobe was hit with a one game suspension for shooting Manu Ginobli an elbow in a game...Although no foul was called on the play, the league saw fit to hit Kobe w/a suspension that prevented him from playing the Knicks at MSG...

Agree or Disagree..?
I personally am getting more than fed up with the NBA's insistence on doing these types of things...I have not seen the shot myself, but unless Manu was injured in some way, and especially since the refs did not see fit to call a foul, what the hell..?

I totally disagree with the suspension. It was an unintentional hit and definitely should not have been a suspension. If it would have been anyone else, it wouldn't have been a suspension.
I can't find the video for it, but I'll continue to search

What are you talking about? It was totally intentional! Kobe was trying to draw a foul and swings his arm clear across his body to tag Manu in the face. I'm glad the league doesn't let that shit slide...ref's should have called something...

Man, he was already making another basketball move..! That's crazy..! It didn't look to me like he was even in a positiont to take a shot at Manu, let alone trying to intentionally pop him in the face..!
Not even the commentators said anything about it, horrible call by the league...

iMNO, there is no way you can call that intentional. It totally wasn't

That link I put up is the best quality I've found...Kobe's follow through on his shot does not go to the side...and he clearly SWINGS his arm back into Manu's face. I'm telling you, get to a tv set and catch it in HD if you have to but Kobe intentionally swings his arm across trying to draw a foul. Without a doubt.

I saw it on Sportscenter the night it happened. No way should it result in a suspension

That's all I'm saying...He may have been trying to draw a foul, sure...But was he trying to maim Manu at the same time, no, he wasn't...I mean sure, give him a fine or something, but a game suspension..?!?!? Which means not only did he not play, he didn't get paid, and on top of that, the Lakers lost the game..?
You have people getting flagrant fouls in games, and not sitting out for shit way worse than that...That's not a $40,000 or however much Kobe is paid per game, definitely trying to hit someone in the face infraction...It is unprecedented, and on top of that, impossible to enforce league wide...

Don't forget that Melo was slapped with 15 games for fighting like a woman.
