So for my computers class we have to create a web page using Angelfire.com. I'm pretty excited about it. In fact, this is the only class I actually care about this semester. lol

This is what I have so far. I decided to give it just a clean, simple layout. I didn't want anything overly flashy.

Ahh, I remember the angel fire days....

What are your goals for the page..?

Very minimalistic, my favorite.. lol
However, that table looks very, very VERY ugly with border="1"..

I'd suggest replacing that with:
style="border: 1px solid;"

unless that's beyond what you're learning in the class at the moment..
You'll get to it eventually, though (I hope).. lol

My immediate goals are unknown at this point... Right now I'm just screwing around for the class. However, once the class is over I may use it for something else.

I'll look into switching up the border. I just threw that up quickly so I'd have somewhere to post the links for the various assignments we'll be completing.

BTW, if you haven't checked it like within the last 5-10 minutes you'll want to. I made a few updates.

That would be a GREAT idea, at least a link to www.AYHJA.com (the portal).

Well, I suppose you could stick up the lime-green bikini pic with a caption saying "this is my mate Ty. He has an awesome web community at http://www.ayhja.com with lots of neat features". /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Alrighty then, just stick up the AF logo with the text then /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> .

It's not bad Kramer, keep at it! You could probably just make the border "0" so it won't have the ugly border but still keep everything neat in a table.

Wait up....PLEASE don't tell me you made that with FrontPage?........... /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" />

Yes, I did, Pete. We were told to. Why? Are you doubting my HTML skills? Something tells me I'd mop the floor with you when it comes to HTML...

Now if you'll excuse me I have to reboot my computer... if only I could figure out how...

Holy shit the man is on the warpath..! CDR!

If I can make a suggestion, it would be to optimize it for fixed width viewing...This is what the text looks like on my screen:

Easily fixed by a few well placed <br> commands or so...

You mean <br />.. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Not that it really matter, since the original page is HTML not XHTML, however, the former isn't valid.. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
