Man, I have to start eating healthier....

I want to at least try...And since I really like salads, I am thinking about going to the grocery store and buying all kinds of shit so that I can eat salads and stuff for lunch....

So, I'm hoping you guys can help me score some salad recipies, or just things you put on a salads...Like salad seasonings and stuff like that...And I have a huge appetite, so I'll more than likely be fixing some hefty ass salads...

1. I'm guessing regular salad lettuce for starters...
2. Sliced chicken breast
3. Bacon/Bacon bits
4. Crutons
5. Sliced Eggs
6. Cheese (Of what variety, I don't know)

And of course, I'll be eating nothing but Ranch Dressing...Any tips, pointers, guides, or comments are appreciated..!

Actually crutons aren't that healthy for you. Grilled chicken breast is a good place to start. Maybe some carrots too, but the whole thing is you want about one serving of lean meat which is the size of a deck of cards.

If you really want the cheese and bacon and crutons - look for low fat, low calorie options and up the dietary fiber.

Good Luck!

Haha....you're right about E.

It's great that you want to eat healthy, but be careful about that salad dressing. You could have an extremely healthy salad yet ruin it all with dressing that is high in calories or fat. I suggest a low-cal, low-fat dressing if you need dressing at all

Stay away from dressing. Period. It ruins a salad, makes it junk food. If you need to spice up the taste, add a lil vinegar. But keep the dressing to an absolute minimum. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

A nice wine vinegar is really good. A little olive oil with pepper or garlic is really a good match and quite healthy.
