Hero: Cubs starter Rich Hill has gotten off to a quick start, allowing just four hits -- three today to the Reds -- and one run in his first two starts.

Finally a young SP with upside and an arm not attached with superglue, paperclips and a prayer

Bring up Marshall, Marmol and Veal kick Marquis, Lily and Miller to the curb- Trade Big Z (no 5yr deals PLEAAAZE) for 2 more youngguns and another 2- IF players

Now if Soriano, Theriot, Murton, and Pagan and Pie learned to be like Jackie Robinson the Cubs'd slammin' (not Sammy)

Dont forget to watch the Jackie Robinson tributes - one of the greatest men to walk this earth- a role model for any child of any skin color

Wood might be OK in the bullpen (if healthy- now where have I heard that??)

Dempster finally got his head outta his a$% (actually Sweet Lou whispering, Throw F$^cking strikes -looked like it worked- and how!!!)

I'd like to see Prior, Wood, Howry, Dempster in that order BP (Ohman, Weurtz and/or Eyre as situational guys- might havta trade somebody)

and MARK CUBAN -- buy the CUBS DAMBIT!!!!! (double what Forbes has it valued at - Its not like you cant make it up or spare it- make those F#^ks at Tribute cum in their pants over your offer) I might actually move from SoCal if that happens

Marmol and Marshall need to work on gopheritis but their BABIP (battedballsinplay) and BB/K are above avg- Veal is excellent at the lower levels so far (Guzman and Mateo could be good too- if they'd stop bringing in anchient sucky over the hill SP -see Lilly, Marquis)- they might get a chance

The Cubs finally have a lot of potential. Like you said, they have some good, young pitchers. I'd love to see both Wood and Prior bounce back. When they first entered the league, they had Hall of Fame written all over them and had the talent to become the best pitchers ever to play the game. Then those injuries totally cost them. I could still see them coming back and being a dominant 5th starter or closer. Hopefully it'll work out
