I have an idea that I think would be a good one for a patent...

Have any of you ever had any experience with it, or maybe can point some good resources..?

I went to www.uspto.gov and that shit was like reading Greek, even for me...Any help is appreciated, but experience rules..!

As long as the idea isn't related to the software, I'm fine.. lol

You'll also want to contact your lawyer, prior to submitting the patent, who can also do it on your behalf - you'll need to briefly explain your idea in a page or two, sign a few papers, and it should be submitted to the USPTO, after making sure there's nothing wrong with it..
