I am not a fan of either system at the moment...The games that come out will define which one I get, so I don't really care about the 'wars' I only play a handful of games...

This is something called 'Home' or GDC 2007 for PS3...Nevermind the fact that I can control a PS3 w/my PSP, this just looks fucking cool..

That does look awesome. My friend as a PS3 but I haven't played it yet. I have a 360 and love it for the most part. Not all regular XBOX games work for it which sucks

WHY???

Why do people think this is cool? It's a mall full of sony billboards and other drek with censoring and a vague and impotent sims online feel. Play Second Life if you want the MMO experience without the creepy penchant for pedaphilia this invites.

"Hey billy, wanna come to my room and watch a movie i have on my screen. Then we can play that game i have but your mom won't buy you."

ok, i am going to go wash my brain right now. sorry, this just creeps me out. It must be either HEAVILY monitored, or it will not end well.

I hate mmo games. they just don't end, and they eat people's interest in REAL life. I hardly play multiplayer except with a chosen few.

*shudder*

That might be cool for some people, but personally I don't play multiplayer games. I can understand chattin to friends and stuff and it may be a good socializing tool, but some things just take em too far and people spend too much time on the game and not enough time in real life. Just my opinion.

I would certainly be in the "It is not for me" crowd on this but I can see the potential. It is fairly obvious people enjoy socializing with and meeting people online. It seems only natural to flesh that out into a "world" of sorts that combines that social aspect with Sony's products with the PS3. Some of what they have shown looks fairly neat and depending on how far Sony decides to go with this is could play off fairly well.
