First off, let it be known that I'm not putting anything up my ass...It's nothing macho, I just don't think all of that is called for...

What's the deal w/this procedure..? I've heard it referred to jokingly in movies and what not, but is there any real need to do this..? I don't know anyone that has had it done, but my mother said she talked to a lady, who more or less said she had some shit come out of her ass that she couldn't puncture w/a stick...I can't image that, but for something like that I definitely say better out than in, IF its risk worthy...

ive heard they put like a lil hose up ur ass and it shoots small bursts of mineral or cleansing water...

apparently, this greatly reduces stress, clears excess air you have in ur belly from eating to fast, can actually help ur belly look less fat and yeah, shit might come out that wouldnt have... lol...

though i dont know how accurate it is, have heard its good for ya health

It's required before you get the scope shoved up there for the doctors to look around. But, it is a home procedure. You buy a little bottle at the pharmacy and fill yourself up. Then you are very uncomfortable and spend the next 45 minutes in the same manner you would had you eaten McDonald's food. Don't forget the Fabreeze!

Uber, you should be getting close to that age when the doctors say, "Drop your shorts and lay down. We're going to check your prostate." I hope you have a short doctor with small hands. I am lucky enough to have a very hot female doctor. :drool:

Ha - that takes me back to the SNL commercial for a cereal called colon blow... funny shit (no pun intended)...

The "colon cleansing" they're talking about is the good old high colonic enema of olden days. They insert a rubber catheter all the way to where the small intestine joins the large intestine and flush everything out with whatever you've paid your hundreds of dollars for (soap, mineral water, tea, diluted coffee, etc.). The proponents claim it will clean out all the accumulated detritus out of your colon, help you lose weight, eliminate depression, end headaches, and in general just feel better.

The medical professionals all agree that this is a bunch of nonsense (though enemas do have their place in the medical procedure list). The colon is designed to flush out the waste that is produced by the massive amounts of crap (pun intended) that we eat every day. If we drink sufficient amounts of water (we all could drink more, I'm sure) and eat reasonable amounts of fiber (again, we could probably do with a little more), our bodies will do an amazing job of taking care of this nasty business.

I don't see anyone sticking a hose 1" in diameter up my ass anytime while I'm still breathing. I know I'm facing a 'scope procedure this year or next, but I'm going to stick with the tried and true 3 step method. Save your money and eat a big bowl of raisin bran.

My last "Procedure" required a scope at both ends. I think they were trying to meet in the middle. All I know is I woke up with a bad taste in my mouth and my ass hurt.
