Ok, so I am back to the forum after a long break due to former members. Now I write for the Indiana Pacers and Utah Jazz's fantasy sports section of their website, as well as http://www.rotorob.com. If you want to get the fantasy sports going, let me know.

Not on a pro level. But, I do play them from time to time. I do about 25 leagues per sports. Retirement is REALLY boring!

How does a fantasy college football world work?

Mostly all there is for that is a pick em' game. Picking the weekly winners. It isn't all THAT fun really.

Fuck it man, lets do something new...You may even find it challenging ruff, and more importantly, carving a niche where one might not exist...Lets start a college football fantasy league man, if you lead the way, we can get it done...At least maybe do a conference first, and then do nationals...

If its one thing I like, its making my own way...So...You guys game..?

I think it sounds awesome. How should we get it started?

TT's in..? Shit man, we can consider this done then...

Well, I don't really know fantasy sports that well, so someone who is more versed in it can lay out some groundwork, I guess what would be the best place to start is to see why a fantasy college league doesn't exist, or isn't mainstream...

My guess is a lack of information, but I'm sure there are ways around that...We're all spread out far enough that we maybe can learn how to get the beat on things...

The main thing you need to do is figure out what conference to do, then set up a scoring system, then draft. Right now, we can just do a chat room draft and post the picks in here. Then, each week we could have each GM tally his teams points based off our points structure and post it here.

I can give you some point structures such as:

Max Teams: 14
Start Scoring on: Week 1
Max Moves: No maximum
Max Trades: No maximum
Trade Reject Time: 1 day
Trade End Date: No trade deadline
Trade Review: Commissioner
Waiver Time: 1 day
Playoffs: Final Week of Regular Season
Roster Positions: QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, K, DEF, D, DB, DL, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN
Stat Categories:

Passing Yards (10 yards per point)
Passing Touchdowns (6)
Interceptions (-2)
Sacks (-1)
Rushing Attempts (1)

Fumble Recovery (2)

Something like that, or we can go more simple. Maybe do a conference we all are close to or something. I am in New Mexico, so the Mountain West Conference would be easier for me. I could maybe even get us a press pass for the Lobos game.
