Doll's diddling in dentist's chair keeps male patients coming back for more

Times have been hard for dentists in Japan. Only last summer, weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun (8/9) reported a growing number of dentists are in frantic financial straits and forced to put in long hours just to pay their bills.

"Things are getting desperate," one doc was quoted as saying about his declining practice. "The bank won't lend me any money now, so I have to lease my equipment. And to do that, I've mortgaged my life insurance."

The problem is clearly due to the double-whammy of an oversupply of dentists and declining demand. In 2004, the magazine pointed out, Japan had more dental clinics (67,000) than convenience stores (41,000).

With increasing competition, a dental clinic must be clean and attractive, well equipped, and hopefully staffed by attractive young dental assistants.

Which brings us to Jitsuwa Knuckles (February) and the story of Aiko, a 19-year-old dental assistant currently employed at a clinic in Osaka.

This particular clinic has several chairs, which are situated in separate rooms. Which means that while the doc attends other patients in neighboring rooms or goes back to his lab to fit implants or whatever, Aiko is left alone to minister to the patient.

Aiko might be alone in the room with a male patient for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, and during this time, there's not a heck of a lot she can do. She can assist the patient to expectorate into the sink, and then replace the cotton wool swabs in his mouth and make sure the suction apparatus is doing its job.

After that, she may still have time on her hands. Did we say time? On her hands? Hehe.

So she can pass the time by making small talk. Or, for and additional 10,000 yen -- not covered by health insurance, unfortunately -- she can give the patient a hand job.

What?!

"I'll rub your 'chinko' for 10,000 yen," was how she propositioned Jitsuwa Knuckles' writer.

(It should be noted, before proceeding further, that one of the fondest fantasies frequently flaunted in male-oriented reading matter is to do the dirty with an "angel in white.")

"I expected she would just give it a rub through the material on my trousers," he relates. "But she was very eager to provide good service and after unzipping me gave it a vigorous wank until I shot off."

"You know, you can develop a real taste for this kind of thing," she encourages, with a lascivious grin, placing her hand on his thigh. "When you come back for your next appointment, be sure and bring an extra 10,000 yen, and I'll give you some more of my 'special therapy.'"

He did, and was rewarded with another vigorous hand job.

"If patients get too noisy while I'm doing them, I stuff more cotton swabs in their mouths," she giggles.

"Ah, isn't it a little risky to be doing this?" he asks Aiko. After all, it's supposed to be a facility for providing medical treatment, not corporeal pleasure.

"No, no, it's not risky at all," Aiko clucks. "Firstly, you know, anybody can work as a dental assistant -- even a part-timer who never went beyond junior high school.

"So if I get fired, I'll just find another job."

The wages of dental assistant are quite low. Aiko tells the writer she only receives 850 yen per hour. But even a full-time regular staffer at a hospital might only earn about 200,000 yen a month, as opposed to 1 million yen or more for the head of the clinic.

So as far as Aiko's concerned, there's nothing wrong, or stupid, about supplementing her income by providing aid and comfort to male patients.

"But you know what?" Aiko giggles again. "I think even if the boss were to find out what I've been doing, he wouldn't fire me. Actually, quite a few patients like to come here for treatment because I'm around."

Many tales have been told over the years about lecherous dentists who filled the "cavities" of female patients under anesthesia -- but this is the first time we've ever heard of dental assistants who gave a willing hand to their male patients' willies.
