Love, Sin, The Cross......And Balancing The Equation

Ok, I been thinkin' long and hard about this one..
Every 'virtue' has its counterpart...if you were always honest, you would considered rude, etc. All, except Love, for true love focuses on all the positive traits of all th evirtues. Yet sin focuses on all the negatives. Or does it? Is this the counterpart for love?
If so, how does the fall of man/the cross fit into this. If everything must be balanced, why did the Chief wait until when He did to take the earth in physical form? Any ideas on this?
Also, how did The Cross affect our perception of Love? Was this the answer to the Fall? Hmm..
time is on my side.

DeEje,
First of all, this is a very good question.
Second of all, the answer rolls out like this.
He didn't wait. He never has. The original premise, and the most common, is that Christ consciousness is perpetually manifested. That means he is always alive, always, suffering, and always conquering through YOU.
It is also directly shown in the Bible that the same "Jesus" was the reincarnation of Joshua, the son of Nun.
The Lord perveys all space and time,.. so how could you ask him when. Any concept of time is a blessing (or at least a factor) in letting you "digest" the ultimate truth; that you can only complete yourself by achieving true God awareness, which leaves very little room for self awareness, in any sense of the self as distinguished from any other thing.
The hebrew word for God awareness is Achad, a word translated as "One" or "Unity." Reach that, and you have all your answers.

Ok, so the \"energy of God\" has always been alive through some physical being. Is that what you are getting at? But how does it relate to the individual then?QUOTE(adiriel)
It is also directly shown in the Bible that the same \"Jesus\" was the reincarnation of Joshua, the son of Nun.
Whoa, this is news to me. PLEASE explain how the Bible reveals this. And also, does Nun have any significance here or did you just say that for clarification? QUOTE(adiriel)

I understand about the time, but what does God base what He does on? Nahmean? How does He know when stuff needs to go down, and how does He decide to choose the time it does, if he has no concept of time itself (since He is infinite)?
I was following this post pretty well actually, for raum writing it /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />, but I dont understand the self awareness/God awareness thing at the end. Please elaborate on the things I brought up if you get a chance, as it would be much appreciated.QUOTE(adiriel)

Is this possible considering all the genetic, cultural, and environmental flaws imposed upon us?

Question: what does God base what He does on?
Answer: Divine will directed by immeasurable love
It's hard to understand, but easy to accept when you see it is the basis of all religions; from Chinese Taoism to Hawaiian Huna to African Ifa to Jewish Tikkun.
Question: Is this [Achad] possible considering all the genetic, cultural, and environmental flaws imposed upon us?
Answer: Why do you think all of the "Christ figures" have to forsake their religion, their family, and finally their own lives to embrace the Achad?
Lao Tzu, Siddhartha, Krishna, Tahuti, Moses, Jesus/Dionysus, Mohammed, all of these and more...
Your question: why did the Chief wait until when He did to take the earth in physical form
Think of it this way, instead;
Mankind collectively had to experience certain things so that they might become aware of The Chief's existence among them in THIS way; which some experienced as the manifestation that inspired the popular biblical myth of the one called Jesus.
However, there were those who had already experienced those "certain things" and had already been intimately aware of his presence among them.
"I come among you as a thief in the night." get the double meaning?

Sorta understand the double-meaning thing but...ehh...LoL...

But other than that, things lookin' pretty good now..thanks

Messiahs and prophets have walked among us for aeons, and only a few souls can understand and thus enjoy that presence (by "enjoy", I mean being fully aware and open to learning, not just hangin out 'cause there's a vibe there, man!). There's a very good change we'd miss Joshua today had he payed us a visit.
