Feel the Bullets While Playing Shooter Games
TN Games, makers of "physical experience hardware," will release a PC vest accessory on Nov. 21 that mimics the feeling of being hit by real bullets when playing first-person shooters.
The 3rd Space FPS Vest features eight embedded contact points that are said to simulate the direction and force of bullet fire in a first-person shooter game.
"Our patented vest technology now provides gamers with an unprecedented opportunity to physically experience their action... feel the rush of body slams, be crushed with G-forces, feel a stab wound or be blasted with bullet fire in either a single or multi-player game," said Mark Ombrellaro, founder of TN Games.
The 3rd Space FPS Vest comes bundled with a TN Games developed first-person shooter in addition to a 3rd Space enabled version of Call of Duty II. The rumble suit retails for US$189, although it can be purchased online without Call of Duty II for $169.
Shipping Nov. 21, the FPS vest also supports Quake 3, 4, and Doom 3 via free software patches found on the Redmond-based company's website. It is available in black, digital camouflage, and pink and comes in two adjustable sizes
I can't wait to feel like I'm being riddled with bullets playing COD4, what a RUSH!!!!!
