About: Micatone (germany)

Lisa Bassenge - vocal:
Lisa Bassenge is 25 years old. She has her own jazz-trio where you also can hear Paul Kleber on upright bass. In 2001 they recorded the critically acclaimed album "Going Home".

Boris Meinhold - electronics, guitar:
Boris Meinhold worked as a studio and session guitar player until he noticed that the music he liked listening to almost never contained guitars.
As a consequence he started working with samplers and computers and founded Micatone in 1999.

Paul Kleber - double bass:
Paul Kleber studied classical doublebass but he likes playing jazz much more.
Besides the Lisa Bassenge Trio he also recorded two CDs with Jazz Indeed.
During Micatone shows you can see him also playing the triangle with a certain amount of virtuosity!

Tim Kroker - drums:
Tim Kroker is the only member of Micatone not from Berlin, originally coming from Frankfurt a. M. Besides Micatone he also plays with the Belgian band Front 242. You can listen to his drums on the band's actual live album.

Sebastian Demin - keyboards (live):
Sebastian Demin plays an important role in the micatone live show where you can hear him on synthesizer and fender rhodes piano.
He works as a producer and remixer and was live keyboard player with Daft Punk.

Stefan Rogall - production:
Since 1990 Stefan Rogall has worked mainly as a DJ. He always liked jamming with musicians. In 1996 he started producing his own tracks. Two years later he founded the No Zession label, which was a sublabel of Sonar Kollektiv.
