Consciousness, Meditation, Awareness and Perfection

Ok, so I was bustin' out some prayer/meditation a few days back, and afterwards I realized that for a few minutes of it I was completely unaware of any of the 5 senses, but only focused on God. I was like "damn, I juss experienced perfection" cuz I was in nothingness (physically anyway...but thats what perfection refers to..)..

But then later on I was thinkin', when you sleep, you are completely unaware of your soul, etc..but our most true relevations come to us when we are completely aware of our consciousness...

So is perfection "nothing", or is it "everything" as in being fully conscious..?

One thing I did notice, is usually when you have your deep relevations you are unaware of any of your senses..but you must be aware to enter this stage of unawareness? that sound right? whatchall think?

i don't believe that we can feel/experience perfection while we are on this earth. we have our sinful nature that we always have to deal with and that stops us from experiencing perfection. i believe that we can only experience perfection when we our bodies die and our soul/spirit heads into heaven to be with God

Damn, I don't want to keep singing that relativity song, but err ah...

Somebody play that tune..!

Perfection, in all likelyhood, is a total state of nothing...Complete darkness, and stillness...I believe our Lord God is the embodyment of this, and thus unable to be percieved...Simply deploying yourself to a state of perfection in my eyes, would effect everything around it to a point of acceleration that couldn't be handled by regular 3 dimensional beings...Refer to the hypercube, or a sense of what I'm talking about...

So, in sense, I agree with trashtalker, but then again, if being able to meditate properly and be one with the Lord God is something you achieve (trust me, it will take many lifetimes for this to happen) it is an experience that you could have, but probably couldn't relate...

Kind of like travelling at the speed of light, while everyone else is sitting still...

i think ya'll are just hanging up on the words the man used,..

me i gotta be lil wayne on this onee, and say "Go DeEje!"

that is a form of "samadhi" a stage of enlightenment.

To answer your question, this is not the same as dream-state.

in a dream state, you are aware of perceptions, as they are recorded, and how they internally influence you.

so, ya'll keep arguing somantics, or ever the "essence of perfection?", if you must. me I just encourage you to continue until you get his results, which ae a good sign of true progress!
