The harlem rapper, Cam†™ ¢‚¬„¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¢†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¡¢‚¬Å¡‚¬†™‚¢‚¢¢¢‚¬Å¡‚¬¦‚¾¢‚¬Å¡‚¢ron, has left Island Def Jam after Jay Z was appointed president and Roc-A-Fella was officially sold.
The rapper recently made the announcement on New York Radio revealing that the current head of Island Def Jam, LA Reid, granted the Diplomat Records CEO a release from his contract. Cam'Ron has released two albums, but still owed three more albums..
The Radio personality Miss Info was contacted by the harlem rapper during "Celebrity Drama" and he had told her that he met with the head of Island Def Jam and worked out a release agreement. He met with him man to man and they worked out the deal. Miss Info stated that Cam'Ron felt that LA Reid didn't get the required push needed for his latest album "Purple Haze."
Def Jam publicity had nothing to say about this matter.

He joined the label in 2001 and his debut album, Come How With Me went platinum.
