I don't know whether it happens to you too but during Christmas season I often happen to feel lonely and pissed...
I can't wait for them to come to an end....

Having a family of your own tends to either reverse or amplify those feelings. Sometimes within a few minutes of the in-laws arriving.

Hmmm I spent my xmas and new years with my family and I think I personally felt more lonely than if I had spent xmas and new years on my own. But I do agree. Its more lonely around these times. Thats why you see a surge in activity on online dating sites and stuff around these times.

I have always been self entertaining...I am rarely bored or moody or in an elongated funk...I think I've simply mastered the art of making the most of a bad situation...I don't really care about holidays, I am impartial to them most of the time...The stuff we do in my family on holidays can happen any weekend...All the holidays mean is that for my family that has jobs, they can get off work easier... :p

When I was a kid, I didn't have half the shit my kid has...In the summers, we were sent outside to play...There were no video games, it was hot, musty, and bugs were everywhere...I remember doing things like building playhouses, going on a 'safari' in my stepfather's cow pasture, building makeshift golf courses...Hell, I even wrote and designed an RPG in a notebook that me and my cousins played with dice...

I am comfortable, or will find a way to be comfortable in any situation...I guess my life has kinda forced me to be that way...I have had some really good times, and some extremely shitty ones...Maybe when I was younger I had those kinds of feelings around holiday seasons...But I've always tried to focus on being patient and playing the cards I was dealt...If I sense anxiety or other self destructive feelings coming on, I try to find something to take my mind off it...

I'm glad that you are the only one, so far, who never happens to be in some funky mood during Christmas holidays cause you are able to get it off your mind Ahyja...

I love the Holidays...

...but you have to live "externally"... something that is easy to do when you live on a street like I do. Its all about filling your time doing for others.
