Choices

Today I feel like posting philosophy....

Kumicho said that happiness is a choice in one of his post....he reminded me of another french philosopher: Sartre....

Sartre says: "Tout dépend du choix...si l'homme ne choisit pas, il a choisi de ne pas choisir..." ....in English:"everything depends on choices...if men don't choose, they did choose not to choose..."

So basically all we are supposed to do is just TO CHOOSE! ;)

in those circumstances, you choose how you react. The cards may be dealt to you, but you still decide whether to play it - bluff - call - or toss in.....

You don't choose to have a hurricane hit you, but you certainly choose the risk when you move to the gulf coast... and you choose to stay or ride it out... and you choose to curse God or rebuild after it hits....

I agree w/st4, you ALWAYS have a choice...Granted, they may not all be negative and positive...But there's a 'best thing of' in every situation...As I'm getting older, I realize more and more that life is simply what you make it...I am no more happy now with all these great things around me, than I was when I was younger and didn't have shit except a set of 30 year old encyclopedias and an imagination...
