What's your favorite file host..?

Another attempt to ascertain who people hate and who people love when it comes to file hosts...Please do share your comments, and definitely, if you see a host that should be up here, say something..!

Personally, I like RapidShare for ease of use...I drag files into an uploader, go to sleep, and when I wake up and can post, they're ready to roll...

I like File2Upload because st4 has the hookup... :D

I like FileQube because they let me BETA test, and thus gave me the hookup... :D

I like GigaSize because I have had a free premium account for at least 2 years, and probably forever, lol...

I like MediaFire because its fast, free for most, and just awesome...

And I like MegaUpload because for some reason, almost every file I have ever uploaded there is still available...I've only been a temp. premium user, but wow...Gotta love that...

I do not mind using any of the above services, but will consistently use one if members find it to their benefit...I don't mind posting mirrors for people, so I usually just use the host that moves me that day...Like if The Sooner asks for a repost, I use MediaFire cause that's what he uses...If st4 needs a post, I use File2, cause that's what he uses, and so forth...

If they ever come out with a file spreader (Like Sharebee) that allows premium or login users, I would swear by it...

So, give your spill..! And if you need a list of free hosts to try, I'll upload my bookmark list, pretty sure there are close to 75 on there...

For images, its a toss up...Right now I'm using Imagehaven...But I use ImageVenue also...However, its TehServer for the win in that department...

Mediafire is my fav right now. It's free, my files seem to stay up for a long time, and there is no waiting period!!

You know my vote... lol ...
File2upload.net because it is the only one my work has not blocked yet and because my account is premium so my files (and the files of those I've "hooked up") will stay forever....

They've indicated that they are working on an auto mirror option... Post it once to f2u and they'll post it for you on rapidshare, mageupload, etc. and generate the links for you. I'll have to ask for an update....

I've also started using imagehaven.net for individual pics and thumbs. Imagevenue gets blocked at work, but imagehaven is still accessible. The flash uploader seems to work great and you can upload up to 50 at a time.

That file spreading option would be awesome st4...As well as a small uploader app....I bet WAY could write one if he had time...We could use it to promote the site too... :D

Image, about those file spreader services like sharebee, which I'm still running a trial by fire with, I did recently find three more: massmirror.com, rapidspread.com and rapidjockey.com

I think either/or allows premium user login, but I have read wary reviews about reapidjockey's site spreading malware/spyware, so I haven't really wanted to enter into that potential hornet's nest. I have yet to use massmirror.com, but from the overall impression the landing page displays, it looks quite professional. Also, I've only uploaded a single file to rapidspread.com, found here: http://www.rapidspread.com/file.jsp?id=pnhwyin9uo

hmm :sarcasm: it seems as though the file is still uploading to two more sites, although I uploaded it at least two weeks ago. Read that however you like.

I have not tried all the ones listed, but not having a premium account with any of them I find that between time delays and ads downloading from any of them becomes a real pain.
I have no preference.
