This is becoming a sickening trend lately. Can't trust anyone if you are a pregnant woman these days.

I heard about this on the radio, maybe a month ago.

Not much to say, other than the news highlighting that select minority of crazed violence to stir up emotions.
I'd forgotten about the story until you mentioned it, but I see no reason not to forget about it again.

Like the guy in Greece who cut this other guy's head off on the metrobus, it might happen again, maybe even in a relatively short span of time, perhaps also in the same country or localized area, but it is highly unlikely and/or is not about to become a trend for anyone to worry themselves sick over.

First you feel sorry for the affected parties involved, offer what condolences you can, and relatively quickly, you move on with your own, relatively-unaffected and untargeted way of life.

Both of the above are outliers of insane acts of murder that the community wants to publicize because of the horrific nature involved, not because it is about to spread like the swine flu, (which is yet again media propaganda trying to sell/scare you into submitting to their constant updates and "breaking news").

How did you hear about this a month ago when it happened sometime after last Thursday? :?:

You might be thinking of the last one where they found the dead mother's body in the subfloor? That's how frequent this type of crime is happening lately.

Yeah, that whole incident on the bus was crazy. I can't imagine what it was like for the other passengers as well...to hear the gurgling scream.

My sense of timing is whacked, though I could have heard about this on either Thursday/Friday morning.

But, you could be right, and I did indeed hear about this last month, and it was a separate case altogether. That'd really be a sensation. Here is hoping it is the case of the former, and that not having a clock anywhere in my home outside of my pocket skews my reality of time's essence.

What I do know is that I heard about this story in passing, I had already put the story on the backburner of my memory, and I don't read internet news or watch TV at all--and I only started listening to the radio yesterday and today. So, I didn't materialize the exact details of the violent crime from my noggin just today, is what I'm trying to say.

I also heard that there was another incident with a deranged Asian male at Virginia-Tech, and that while in the luncheon area, near the kitchen, he beheaded a woman with a knife (unspecific). That is beyond gruesome, and regardless of what type of knife he had, the act alone would consume so much time and spill so much blood and mass, it's unbelievable.

People are sick. As if pregnant women don't have enough to worry about.
