Karma

While I may lack the scholastic proof of the word Karma, the idea is the same...I brought up the idea of it in another thread and this is the tangent of it...I basically said in reference to a man that had wrongfully accused of being locked up in jail for 19 years for a crime that he didn't commit, that he must have done something, IE, put himself in a position to be accused...
Case and point being, it is VERY hard these days to be completely accused of something you didn't have anything to do with...The matter of which I am thinking about revolves around the golden rule...
You do onto others, as you would have them do onto you...You reap what you sow, etc...Nothing complex about that idea, right..?
For instance, if you're out driving home, after you've had a few drinks, but you aren't drunk...You aren't swerving on and off the road, nothing like that...But you get stopped at a random roadblock, and that ass gets hauled off ot jail...You may have had the same amount of alcohol every night for a year, and made it home super safely every night...But don't drink and drive means...Don't drink and drive...Simple as that...You may not have been drunk, but that ass had been drinking, and you can be hauled off to jail for that shit, and bitch and complain about it all you want, etc...
That's what I'm talking about, especially in that instance...
I spent 4 or 5 years in college, and never once got in trouble with the law, well, aside from some nasty ass parking tickets and all that... /:D" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt=":D" /> I was at every party, working if I wasn't playing, and had every little chance to get into the same trouble that my friends did...I didn't...
I wasn't out running trains on chicks, getting drunk as fuck, and acting like all I cared about was having fun...It may not be entirely right, but in this society, you are guilty by association...It isn't acceptable to say, "I didn't do it," when your ass is all around it...If you're in my car, smoking weed, and I don't take one pull of it, if we get pulled over, we BOTH going to jail...I think it is foolish to think otherwise...
I had a cousin that got a full scholarship to play football at Clemson when we got out of high school...He was the most talented running back in the state, on our football team, which finished ranked 12th in the nation...He was at a house party where they were running a train on a girl...He didn't partake in the activities, but he may as well have, cause when that girl's fried walked in and saw her gettin' beast fucked by a gang of football players, she cried rape...
So, there was my cousin, on sports center...Not cause he was scoring touchdowns, but because he was sittin' in a room where some bitch was gettin' it all pushed in and he stayed there...She eventually cracked on the stand, and the charges were dropped, but the damage was done...
So, I won't attempt to be coy, and say that some of the shit that I do that is good, and I do out of the goodness of my heart that I am not rewarded for it...And I won't say the same vice versa either...That guy may not have done THAT rape, but his ass probably did something, or maybe it was God's will, or whatever...I can only speak from my POV, which isn't a position that can be argued...
Karma? Maybe, maybe not, but I have seen whatever you wish to call it work in the most ironic of ways...If you didn't do good deeds, would you still expect to be treated well..? Why is it that, when you do something that isn't so good, that these rules need to change..?
Do you think ((( karma aka cosmic retrebution and reward ))) exists..? Why or why not, and in what capacity..?
