Damn. There's a reason #28 is my favorite number. I'm not even halfway through the listing and I think that "slide 23" is already the hottest photo featured in the article.

I guess instead of hinting at it, I should follow your example and post it:
#28 Kim Kardashian
Also, I've had this website bookmarked for over 2 years that details the "100 most beautiful/gorgeous female celebs" as well, but they say it is voted on by 'acclaimed critics'.
It's kinda neat, but I don't know if I should make another topic about it or what; here's the link:
The Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Women in the World

Flawed list. Jessica Alba is #6.
I think Eva Mendes should be in the Top 5 as well.
Kate Beckinsale was Esquire's Sexiest Woman Alive and yet this website has her at #32.

The following is just my opinion/perception.
As regards the Baltimore Sun's list, in browsing through it I repeatedly thought "Who?" or "Why?" It doesn't help that the vast majority of these "most beautiful female celebs" are represented by pictures which look at least a little unflattering; too many washed-out red-carpet photos.
One key problem I have with such lists is that it's not really "the 50 most beautiful celebs", it's more like "50 of the celebs who are currently in the public eye or who have been active in the past six months or so and whom a wide majority of the public regard as good-looking". And notice how such lists have to remind you "where you've seen her"?
If 99 out of 100 people consider a certain celebrity to be beautiful, she effectively is beautiful, no matter how good a case which that one person of dissenting view may make that she is not quite "beautiful" or whatever. In my case, a lot of the women who currently are almost universally regarded as "beautiful" or "hot" are ones that don't do much for me.
For example: Megan Fox. It would be unreasonable of me to assert that she isn't very good-looking and very hot. I even think that she has a chance of being the next Jennifer Connelly. However (and that's no small however), the "I'm the hottest hottie you'll ever see" vibe that she radiates, together with the "always sultry, never sweet" look she has, turns me off. That and the fact that she's so universally drooled over that it makes me want to buck the trend and refuse to think highly of her.
Likewise, lots of folks think Scarlett Johansson is one of the sexiest women in the world (currently, at least). I agree that's she really good-looking (especially as a flaxen blonde), but I like her overall look much more when she's smiling in a natural, friendly way. When she's trying to look or is supposed to look sexy/sultry, typically she looks to me like a petulant teenager.
But then there's Salma. *wistful sigh* I've had a soft spot for her ever since I saw her in the role of Esmeralda in TNT's The Hunchback (of Notre Dame). She might not quite be in my top 5, but she would definitely be in my top 10. She is, however, one of my five muses (another of whom, and the foremost of whom, is Jennifer Connelly). ^_^

I do agree with you. Most of these list are about whose hot and is pushed by media as the next big thing. I mean Christina Milian has alot of work this year but she is not on these list. I honestly believe that Megan Fox is the new Jessica Alba. In 2000 Jessica Alba was on everything you could purchase and came out of nowhere. Did anyone know who Megan Fox was before Transformers? I'm not saying shes not a attractive but I can safely say that if we are going by pure hotness based on figure Kim Kardashian should be in the top 5 with Alicia Keys and Beyonce and Jessica Alba. And if we are talking talent who is more talented than Alicia Keys and Beyonce on that list?
Like you said its just propaganda.
(I do support Blake Lively though.) :p

I don't even know who Blake Lively is or why she is famous, but I honestly don't care.
I see her gallavanting around with this brunette named AnnaLynn McCord everywhere, and I can't help but to just thank my good fortune in being able to at least know the fact that two such radiant beings exist.

Jessica Alba is still super hot. She just doesn't go in front of the media often and also had a child. She's in an bunch of upcoming movies and is still as fire hot as before.
