QUOTEIn Shakespeare's time, mattresses were secured on
bed frames by ropes. When you pulled on the ropes the mattress
tightened, making the bed firmer to sleep on. Hence the
phrase\"goodnight, sleep tight\".

That phrase came around because people put their beds into the wall to save space on the floor. You had to tighten the screws after you put the bed down or you'd fall off. They said that to remember to tighten the screws. You get the \"don't let the bed bugs bite\" from there also. There were alot of bugs in the walls due to bad construction and you had to bundle up tight so they wouldn't bite you.

QUOTEThe world's youngest parents were 8 and 9 and
lived in China in 1910.

Physically impossible

QUOTE \"I am.\" is the shortest complete sentence in the
English language.

"Go" is the shortest complete sentence. You have the understood subject and the verb there.

Those are the only ones I know off the top of my head....

It makes it SO much more better, when you drop evidence to what you're saying...! Thanks...

@ luvbugin

I'm not sure how to take the fact that you'd bring up statue posture at a party...I'm not sure how you'd even attempt to work that in...But, I'm almost certain of the looks you'd get the minute you let it fly out of your mouth, LoL...
