Is this too harsh of a penalty for steroids? I know that he doesn't want steroids in the game but 50 games for first time?

fine with me

its good, its a lil bit steep but thats whats needed to get these millionaire babies to get their shit straight. Its good because once you hit these dudes in their wallets, they'll take shit seriously. finally Bud has grown some balls and challenged these dudes and isnt so much of a pussy. but at the same time, Bud might just be doing this so he can act hard, but he really knows that the player union wont approve. it was worth a try and it will be worth it and it will work , if given the chance that is.

Agreed...

I'm still confused about what the fuck baseball is calling steroids...I was under the assumption that the creatine shit or whatever, was stuff you could buy off the shelf of a GNC...If it's not illegal...I don't see why it should be banned...

I take steroid shots for my allergies...They don't make me feel any stronger, faster, or whatever the fuck...Do you get that much of an edge, and if you do, you know the trade off is that you die young, right..? We aren't talking about the steroid craze from back in the day, when guys were taking shit, getting huge, and wrestling Hulk Hogan...

I can't wait until they get settled on a punishment, and that punishment as mentioned is pretty hardcore, what the results will be...

dude

the steriods that you take are corticosteroids, and thats different.

the ones players take are called anabolic steroids. the term anabolic in cell biology is used in reference to BUILDING UP of macromolecules. this means that these steroids build tissue, proteins in such a way that they DO make someones performance better.

the Side effects arent worth it, at least thats what i think. but yet, people still smoke.

but in baseball, steroids should be banned or else all the records these dudes broke will have asterisks by them forever. :-({|=

I hate the idea of asterisks but I don't like the steroids in the game either. I understand why they take them but I don't like it

Why do they take them? Can't put in the hard work themselves....it's just too tough to keep up with everyone else or get ahead of the game manuelly? Steriods are for pussies who can't get the job done themselves.....Fuck 3 times...if you get caught once...you need to be banned, fuck the 2 slaps on the wrist then finally some punishment.

Everyone wants an edge. That's why they take them. They want to be better than the person next to them and they don't want to have to work hard. They want to be able to play longer and have more muscle later in life.

Like I said, I hate it, but I understand why ppl want to take them

Then heres the deal...and should be the new baseball policy.

You wanna be a lazy fuck and take steriods instead of putting in the hard work of all that practice bullshit....then when we find out...we'll be the lazy fucks and just stamp "BANNED" on your forehead instead of putting in the hard work of all that suspension bullshit

I think the multiple strikes deal is for people who may take steroids and are unaware of it...These days I find out that you don't have to take shots anymore, you can get it from a cream or other ways...

Who really takes steroids and not know it. If some trainer comes to them with some cream that will make them better, won't you think that it's steroids? I really don't buy that
