Hell of a lot more interesting than simply taking Moore's views as gospel truth, that's for sure. It is, however, necessary to understand that Moore has been...(I was going to say smart, but I think astute is more fitting) enough to know how to play with the big boys. The big boys lie, quite a bit, and quite often.
He also figured out that most people will gobble up anything you throw at them if it means not having to do the research themselves. I personally think he's playing "fair" at this point. Let Air America and FOX news, and CNN battle it out over facts, Moore wants to play politics, and to do that...you HAVE to lie.
People like soundbites, they like catch phrases...they enjoy heroes, and why not?...humor. Is he accurate?...well it's propaganda, it's an opposing viewpoint, it's funny so in that context, yeah...bulls-eye. Is it truth?...if you're looking for truth (and I think ADN is witness)....stop waiting to be fed and go look for food you lazy fucks.

'nuff said dude. people want shit handed to them on a silver spoon, its sad cuz people in the past had spent their lives dedicated to opening up information to the public. but if they were alive to see how we do not take advantage of the Right to Information Act, they'd probably drop dead again or go to France.

He may be an idiot (I've never really cared to listen to the guy) but at the same time, he balances the idiots on the other side of the political spectrum who spout off THEIR version of the "truth". If you want to be informed, listen to differing viewpoints, keeping an open mind that both sides on an issue have an agenda to promote.

M. Moore is a manipulator of truth so is the government, you must be awake to realize when someone (no matter wich side) is telling you a side of the story in order to analyze it.

Nah... of course they don't. There really WERE weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. They just... uh... well... SOMEONE must have TAKEN them! That it! Someone STOLE a bunch of chemical and biological weapons right from under the US Army's nose!

um, i hate to play this card, but they did find military equipment buried in the sand, and there were a HUGA amount of ships that left bahrain and disappeared off the face of the earth.

Man, you can say all you like about the unjust invasion of iraq, and i will agree with some of it. However, you can not play it off like Iraq was just "helpless" and innocent. I was there, for a minute, picking up a ship that had its rudder blown off by the Al Qaeda (in 96) the first year 25 agents were dispatched against the US Navy presence there.

I saw them fools blowing up bars in the city just cause one of us MIGHT be in there. They killed thousands in that month and a half,.. We couldn't leave the pier, and had our own beer garden. So, we sat there, and watched them blow up their own city, had a beer, and saluted the explosions that rocked the night.

We had small boats come and try to attack us on the pier, people caught trying to smuggle bombs through the pier sentry, and even a cab driver tried to ram us!

They just couldn't get it through their heads WE ARE FUCKING AMMO SHIP. If they would have blown us up, it would have atomized a full 12 mile radius,.. and they were willing to do it just to kill 400 or so American Troops.

As far as michael moore goes, he is to effective journalism and documentry footage what Marilyn Mason is to Wagner's Opera. Kinda on the same kick, with a lot more makeup and sequins, amusing for a minute, but annoying after the shock wears off. finally, yopu are left ashamed that you ever were exposed to his infotainment.
