I have no idea what or where the filters are. Whenever I try to go to a forbidden site, this is what pops up:

Access to this web page has been blocked in accordance with company policy.

Content filtering is an imperfect technology. If you reached this page attempting to connect to a business related site, or believe you reached this page in error, please contact the Content Filtering Advisory Board to request a review of this site after reading this page in it's entirety.

Before submitting your request to the Board, please review the Acceptable Use Management Policy

Language translation services are available at: babelfish.altavista.com and www.google.com/language_tools

Additionally, please check the spelling of the site you were attempting to reach before requesting a review. Many sites which contain content that violates policy are near misspellings of legitimate URLs (e.g. www.verzionwireless.com (a blocked site) versus www.verizonwireless.com (the legitimate Verizon Wireless site)). Using a web search service such as Google to locate the legitimate site you were attempting to reach can save you time and effort.

Your report to the Board should include:
. The URL for the page you were trying to reach
. The reason for accessing the page (business/personal)
. Your contact information (full name, e-mail address, phone number)
. Any time deadlines you face to access the information

Before submitting your request to the Board, please review the Acceptable Use Management Policy.

After the Board has completed its review you will be notified of the outcome.

Have you tried anonymizer sites..? They are slower, but the chances that they are blocked by your company may be 50/50..! You can always add this line to the front of any http URL:

http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/

And get your Anon surfing on...In Firefox, I just change proxies on they fly, but I'm trying to find a site that you may be able to go through as well...

This is a good anon site:

http://www.anonymization.net/

And this one as well:

http://www.anonymizer.com/

They both allow you to input URLS and go to sites...I don't know if it protects yoru cache or not, but they are worth a shot...I think there is a law that forbids companies from banning anonymous sites...
