OK...I know many of us read comic books, or have read them...And when I read what disabled wrote in teh VS thread, I got an idea for an all superhero one...I am not completely familiar with all the universes there are, but Marvel, D.C., and Dark Horse I know...So, depending on the response, we may have one good thread, or several...I'll split them if necessary, so lets get our debate on...I'll also try to find some good links to the universe encyclopedia for reference...

First up...A side kick battle...

Who would win between Robin, sidekick to the Batman, and Kato, sidekick to the Green Hornet...?

I'd have to pick Robin on this one but I'm not a big comic reader so that's not a professional pick

In fact, Burt Ward said in an interview that he was afraid to fight Bruce Lee because at one time, Green Hornet battled Batman and Bruce Lee and Burt were fighting.

Burt said he knew how Bruce fought and he was fearing getting killed!

aw, damn,.. that's no contest beween Kato and Robin.

Robin would win, and it wouldn't be hand to hand.

If Kato and Robin got in a fight, Robin would gas Kato and kick his ass hanging from a rope. and wink at Batman while he handed Kato back his teeth.

Ya'll are debating if Bruce Lee would win over the guy who played robin on the TV batman from the 60's. That is a no-brainer. Bruce Lee was a REAL warrior, and the guy couldn't fight (or act)! In fact, Bruce Lee began to form the whole damn show around Kato. America was so hungry for exotic culture, and the sheer grace of the man, they ate it up with a biscuit.

Man, Kato in the original Green hornet was not ANTHING like Bruce...who infused a two-bit character with the heart of a warrior, and the eyes of a demon. Still Batman was a better show, and started one thing that is still often used to this day. Off angle cameras on villians.

Now, who would win: The Shadow or Captain America?
