I saw this site has other hardcore boxing fans besides myself. Any other Mayweather fans? I like Gatti but Floyd is just on another level. I say he wins an easy UD, if not he'll stop Gatti on cuts before 8.

Yo..!!!!
Another boxing fan..? Damn, I like you already B...I'm ALREADY THERE...I can't wait to see this fight...This one is uncharacteristically hard for me me to call though....
On one hand, it is very easy to say that Gatti is outclassed, and that Floyd will be to much for him...But...After RJJ broke my fucking heart, I'm going to say anything is possible...Especially since you know Gatti is ready to die in the ring...He hasn't become a fan favorite overnight, dude has and doesn't mind shedding some tears...So, I will be there...
This is definitely going to be a better fight than Tarver/Johnson 2...

You're talking to the biggest Roy Jones fan this side of the Mississippi. The Tarver KO loss was shocking, but the Glen Johnson beatdown was almost too hard for me to watch. With Roy I think it was just a case of age catching up to him, not so much jumping up and down in weight. He's talking about fighting Tarver again and even though I know Roy in his prime would school him, the Roy today has lost too much speed and I don't want to see him take another L. Back to Gatti-Mayweather though, I hope you're right and it turns into a war, but Floyd is too smart for that and even though he's been talking mad shit about Arturo, I know he respects his power. I think Floyd will put on a technical fight (possibly boring) and take the safe route. What I really want to see is Mayweather take on Ricky Hatton. That could be Leonard-Duran all over again.

Roy better not come back and completely ruin his legacy.
Mayweather- Hatton wouldn't be Leonard- Durn all over again...sorry.

I think it might just because the only time Floyd fought someone who was relentless (Castillo) he almost lost. Even the rematch was close, even though he won. Hatton isn't very good defensively but Castillo was also garbage and didn't have Hatton's size advantage. I think Hatton's the only person who could force Floyd into an exciting fight. Mayweather UD

Hmm...It's going to be hella interesting though either way..! Optimistically, you want to see Floyd taking the technical fight route, but Gatti getting a chance to unload a huge shot that won't hurt Floyd, but will piss him off...
We've all seen those fights were the superior boxer gets caught, and wants to trade blows for a little while JUST to show people they can take punches...Gatti isn't as much of a maniac as Mayarga, but I think he actually likes being bloody...
My prediction is that if Gatti can piss FM off enough to fight his way, which is unlikely, he'll knock FM the fuck out...But this could be the second coming of Winky Wright and Tito Trinidad, aka, a fucking jab fest...

I think that's pretty much dead on. Also, Gatti will have the crowd behind him and they'll be going crazy for every punch he lands, and that could also force Floyd to trade with him occasionally.
