SMS-based two-factor authentication will soon be banned
The US National Institute for Standards and Technology draft guidelines state that SMS is not secure enough for authentication purposes.

I'm definitely in favor of anything security driven, and i use 2 step verification on all of my devices and accounts. I never used SMS verification if I could help it anyway.

I never trusted that shit.
