I was definitely interested in that part of the special that we saw Deeje, and I think its a fitting topic for discussion...

It is my understanding that for Jesus to have been properly accepted into the community and into his Messiah role, he would have had to been married and all that...I think I came across that information trying to figure out what Jesus was doing all that time that the bible skips over his life....

Assuming that he really did exist in the context the bible puts him of course...

the bible's context for Jesus is complicated to determine, because there are so many interested parties. the gospel attributed to matthias (matthew) is most likely to be "more authentic" than most of the rest, which was DEFININITELY penned by Saul of Tarsus and his cohorts.. who composed the myth called Christendom. They also thought it out more. The oldest parts of Matthew are the most realistic elements in the new testament.

Mark is obviously "expanded and abridged from two sources"
"Luke" and "John" were cohorts of "Paul" and never met Jesus

Paul's context for Jesu is easy to determine, fanatacism and delusion.

It is likely Jesu married, and it is especially likely he "commemorated" the ceremony in his own little group. Therefore when he was asked by the *public* "Art thou married", he replied "All of creation is my bride" and stole a quick glance to the woman who followed him everywhere she went. It could be possible that they were celibate, but by no means required.

I have more to say about this, but I gotta get ready...
