This post will cover all the basic tools that you need to post here...First things first, you need an image host...For purposes of convience, we can stick to one...For now, we can use one of the largest and most versatile, Imageshack...If you know of another host, however, you can use what you want...But if you're not posting preview pics, please use Imageshack..!

Should be pretty straight forward to use...However, you should read on..!

Upload Tools

There is a tool that will allow you to upload images to imageshack without doing it one by one...it is called Shell Uploader, and you can get it from here:

Once you have shell uploader installed, all you have to do is select a few images that you want to use to preview your set, right click, go to shell uploader, and choose Imageshack...



After that, you will get a dialoge box that gives you all the code you need to post...Make sure that you preview your posts before you submit them, and you should be fine...

Archive Tools

The next thing is archiving...I assume everyone knows what a compression program is and how to use it...My choice compression program is WinRAR, you can get it here: http://www.rarlab.com/

After you have archived your set, you will need to name it...The naming system is like this: YourName_BabeName-SetName/Description

eg, AYHJA_CJGibson-BedroomHoney

The reason we do that is so that your files aren't deleted or passed over on the AYHJA.net server...

File Hosts

We have our own in house hosting...The address is http://teh1337.us ...Go there, register for an account, and send me a PM when you're finished...I'll approve it, and you can start uploading...The links will only work from within an AYHJA domain though, so if you inted to share your links elswhere you may want to use another file host like RapidShare or Megaupload...We have a RapidShare account, so if you want to use it, please be my guest...PM me for the password...

Other Tools

Of course you'll need a great brower...Firefox with all the extensions available is great...You can check the AYHJA Tech section, you will find some that will help you here in this part of the forum, so check it...

1) If I understand correctly, the images end up in two locations...Image shack (where you link for the preview) and a server (where you place the whole set in a compressed format). Is that correct? I assume you then post a link to the preview(s) and a link to the whole set?

2) Any alternate locations to get the shell uploader install? My work filter blocks the site you referenced.

3) Any recomendations as to where a person should start if they wish to share their pics of "gostosas".

Hey M8...Lets see if I can help you out here...

#1 - Yes and no...You only have to post a few pics, and once you start posting in the Gostosa section even one will suffice...I am going to update the initial post, which will reflect the current versions in the galleries that has the locations to a couple of other spots...If you are capble of running other upload programs, I have one that will automate to rapidshare.se and imagevenue...

The idea is to post a preview pic, and then host the rest on a file server...Quick, fast, neat, and painless...All of our posts in the Gostosa section are this way, and we even have our own file server...The options to post this way are many, as is the advantages...The image hosts are largely unreliable, and crash often...Rather than images dying one by one, you only have to worry about one file, the original archive...If you post 30 pictures in a thread, it takes forever to load, and then you still have to save them one by one...Our method says the preview pics can die if they like, and if the archive dies, it can be rehosted, no problem...Every set I upload, I keep on file, and it can be rehosted as soon as it is requested...We save imagehost from tanking this way, and our domain isn't banned for excessive use, or "questionable" content....

#3 - Since you were gracious enough to post this, I guess I could at least tell you why things are the way they are...Nothing complicated, quite simply, people are fucking leeches...Rather than have a site full of lusty porn hounds, we'd rather have a site of lusty porn hounds that like to talk about things other than lusty porn...You know, like football, politics, etc...It gives the site character, and makes it better...You feel comfortable posting here, because you know it's appreciated, you know it's not leeched, and you know you are respected for a contributor...

There are two ways to get to that section...One is to make good use of that paypal button on the bottom of the page, and the other way is to build up a less than decent post count, get to know the site, and when your name turns red, you should be good to go...

There is a member here, rocketjohn I think, who posted his way to the galleries...PM him, and ask him if they are up to par...

I would love for you to be able to share your stuff right away, but I will not compromise the sites integrity for such, and it takes away from what we are all trying to accomplish here, it is not just me...I hope you can understand that enough to want to be a part of that, or at least respect it...

Damn...ImageHost deleted all my uploaded images!

Can anyone recommend a superb free image host that provides direct image hosting, so not like Imagevenue?

I found this: ImgPlace, anyone tried it, is it good?

Direct linking for any picture under 2 MB, you can use one of our servers...

I don't know about any other places, but I know FileDen allows for direct linking...

Thanks, I just had time to check on this now!

I saw the review of FileQube, on your blog, so I regged, but damn they have a bandwidth usage of only 256MB, and as I see, I reached it! :P

I will try then FileDen, the site looks nice! :)
