This program sets up virtual wifi cards on your computer which allows you to access MULTIPLE wireless networks with ONE WiFi card. Also enables connection to ad-hoc networks and infrastructure networks SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Still being researched and there are a couple of features not yet implemented, WEP and WAP, for example; but certainly looks like an interesting project to keep tabs on.

I don't know much about these things, but I do have one, and I have to say I don't really care for it. lol Maybe I bought a shitty brand, I don't know, but I find I get disconnected a lot. lol It's not nearly as bad as my last one, though... which I ended up breaking! lol

I think perhaps you misunderstand what this is.
Imagine a laptop computer with a wireless network (WiFi) card stuck into the side of it.
Now imagine you take that laptop into an area with multiple wireless networks, each independant of the other. Without using this Virtual WiFi adapter, you can only connect to 1 network at a time. This software allows you to connect to all of them at the same time.
This is an overly simplified explanation but I hope it clears it up.

Indeed...
I'm contemplating buying a laptop or upgrading my main machine...I'm looking to go 64 Bit, and right now, on a laptop might be where I get the most bang...
Cool post E...

i thought there might be some interest on this forum for this subject...
the implications for wardriving alone are somewhat staggering....time to beef up the linksys security, change ssid, wep keys, enable mac filters etc etc
