I am not speaking for the verity of this article, but it is interesting.
Of course all the people who stll want to believe America is the oil vampire of the west will just say the findings are frauds. so, i can't see the point...

Still, the Weekly Standard July issue is supposedly the place this first appeared. Can someone check?

You know what..? I really do hope that this is true...Although we are pretty well educated here at AF about the history of the nations relationship w/t middle east (thanks again) the general public still thinks that propaganda is the way to go...Rather than realize that the propaganda is doing its job...
I can't wait till they uncover some WMD evidence and watch the faces of the millions who stood back and talked shit about the ordeal rather than be American, like it or love it, eat shit...Like if terriorists fucking take over teh country, they will spare those that spoke out against the war...
Dumbasses, they will kill us one in the same...Right wing, left wing, chicken wing, you are American and that's more than enough reason for some nations not to like you...I hate cry babies on the international playground...

Well, I couldn't get too into the WS's articles since it requires a subscription, but, there ARE a few articles regarding the topic of these "new findings".
in descending order:

this looks like the original article being cited, again, not sure:

I have to wonder what the wait is all about...I could play along and say that this is some shrewd 'ace in the cuff' move, but I find it strange that only NOW do these incriminating documents surface. I can wait for the outcome, sure.
