his apology impressed them.. they think he realized thay can take the game away from him,.. and he wised up.

he has a 50-50 chance with the team, per sheldon brown this morning. Still, they are having a eagle roast, (to jersey burning party - burn TO's 81, get sheldon's 24) tonight in Philly. The team will allow him to try and account for himself and prove he can play a TEAM sport, but promise nothing.

go iggles. whoop them Giyants!

T.O. needs to get down on his belly and crawl from player to player to coach and beg forgiveness for his attitude. Yes, he's a fantastic player and he's fun to watch in the game, but the ego antics are distracting at best.

Man, I hope that if they let him back he doesn't calm down his behavior on the field...Yes, he needs to shut the fuck up, but tell me you don't want to see what T.O. does when he scores a touchdown..? He DOES make the game fun to watch when he's on, he just needs to realize that off the field bullshit must stop...Its obvious that he needs the Eagles, and the Eagles DEFINITE fucking need him...

im an eagles fan but i dont really care if he comes back. i would rather the eagles lose every damn game from now on so they can get a better draft pick

actually, sheldon said he will have to man-to-man answer each of the players questions.. have a heart-to-heart with each one of them, and then an open forum with the team. if his answers are consistent, an sincere, that will not be a problem.

sheldon believes they are,.. for the record.

i really like sheldon - he calls and they like "what cha doin" - he says "going to work."

To him, he is paid to practice and compensated for potentially dangerous activity... but the reward for the game is effective teamwork and winning. i know a certain amount of that is "fan talk" we love to hear, but its damn good fan talk, and i believe its at leasts representing a real love for the game.

That's good to hear that he must answer to each and every one of his teammates. Yes, I love to watch him play, but there's a point after which... well, it's just not worth it.

I'm not sure what the eagles should do here. The guy is just a locker-room cancer - same in San Fran. But like some guys have said, the guy has the on-field talent - loads of it. The Eagles sure do need him - Greg Lewis and Reggie Brown aint that scary.

I think I remember when he joined the Eagles the word was that McNabb was going to be able to keep him in line - seems Donovan might just be too nice to do that.

Man...think of what would happen if he landed in Dallas. Having him and KJ lining up as your WR? That would be crazy...but that locker room would be a boxing arena also

TO is a Raider...I'm almost certain of it...

There was talk down here in Jax that they'd be able to "handle" T.O. I dunno... I just don't see him as a Jaguar. The talent would be nice to have, but the other stuff that he carries with him we can do without.
