Ok I was watching TV and I was watching this show "Rob Nelson" and I found out some gals and guys had lost their virginity when they are 12 and half and 13 ...

I was surprised... so when did you all loose yours ?

And is it ok for teens to go on and have sex when they are 13?

Absolutely not. I mean at 12-13 they are just kids. I don't think anybody below 17-18 is ready for it, and many people not even by then. 12-13 is just not right. I was 17 by the way.

i have never met a 13 year old child that was emotionally or financially ready to raise a child, and I would feel safe in stating I probably never will.

No.. I think it is completely wrong.. A third cousin of mine or second is 14 and has a 3 month old child and has had 3 abortions previously (FUCKED UP SITUATION.. I DONT AFFILIATE WITH HER)...

I don't think most teenagers (I include 18 & 19 year olds) to be prepared for the consequences of an unplanned pregnancy. Has anyone tried to actually survive on a minimum wage income? Can't be done.

I was a naive 23 year old when I lost mine. If I could have lost it earlier, I probably would have, but them's the cards I was dealt.

So there is a general consesus for 13 - 14 year olds not to have sex...

DD pointed out a good fact, I'm 19 and I lost mine around 16 and even though I would like to think I have done a lot I know im no way prepared to be a father in any way..

So what age do you all think it would be a good age to go ahead and have sex?

Also do you think its ok for teens 12, 13 and 14 to have oral sex?

If not then once again which age would it be ok for them to do it?

As most of us who are sexually active know, oral sex is a lead-in to the real thing. If you were 12, 13, 14 and having oral sex, how long would it be before you went on to intercourse? Of course, given the alternative to "going all the way" and taking the chance with having babies, I'd much prefer my teen kids (you don't know how difficult it is for me to think of my kids doing this!!!) to have oral sex. My daughter just turned 18 today, and as far as I know, she's still a virgin. She's on the Pill, because her mother and I both know that the pressures on teenagers to have sex today is even worse than it was in our day (the 70s) and we don't want her to take the chance of an accidental pregnancy to interfere with her plans for her life.

When is it OK for them to do it? Hell, I don't know that it'll EVER be OK for them to do it for me... they'll always be my babies in my mind. I know it'll happen some day and at some level I want them to be more 'experienced' than I was when I got married, but at the same time, the protective father comes out in me and I want to keep them from getting hurt too. Those of you who are teenagers need to realize how tough it is to be a parent to a teen... you want them to grow up and yet you want them to stay little too. It's a mind fuck for sure!

I wanted to start as soon as i could, unfortunately i've never meet women stupid enough to have sex with me till i was 15.
If the way you reach your first time is natural and not pushed by others is ok, i'll trust nature is wise enough to do not let youngers get lucky before their time.
