The first bowl game isn't till the 20th, I'm going to post the other games up as well...I love the way the bowls worked out this year, seems like everyone is going to get the matchup they want, and there are going to be some GOOD ASS GAMES on this year...Man, I can't wait to see the Peach Bowl..!! Miami and LSU..?!?! Shits gonna be crucial..! My favorite team vs my brothers favorite team...

SUHWEET...

Anyways, about the BCS...

USC vs Texas

I'd be dumb to vote against USC again...I love Texas man, truly...And I won't feel bad at all if they win...But Vince is going to have the best game of his life to win this...QB is the only position that Texas has that will rate higher than USC...USC has TWO backs that can and will get 100 yards...I don't think it will be a blowout, but USC wins...

Key Stat: USC has almost 2 recievers with 1,000 yards recieving...Texas' top 2 recievers have 1200 combined...USC has two rushers w/1,000 yards on the season...Vince Young leads Texas with just under 1,000...

Penn State vs Florida State

If not for a last second play, Penn State would be undefeated in the Big 10...Florida State has a great defense...But, they cannot run the ball for SHIT...Penn State's QB is bigger than both of FSU's main backs...And they run option...Shit, I can't go against a good option team...

Key Stat: FSU's top two runners have 1,017 combined yards...Neither of them have as many yards as PSU's QB Michael Robinson, and he is not even the number 1 rusher on the team...

Notre Dame vs Ohio State

To me, Brady Quinn is the best pure passer in the NCAA's...I love his game...He is a prototypical QB...But I saw how the trio of OSU linebackers terrorize opponents, and thus I find little room to side with either team...They have identical records, all close losses, and games that they could have won...I would like to root for either team, but I'm choosing Ohio State because I think they have the better defense...

Key Stat: Buck linebacker Bobby Carpenter broke his leg vs Michigan...If he isn't back by game time, I'm going w/Notre Dame, LoL...

Georiga vs West Virginia

Please...This is the only game of the BCS definitely heading for a 4 flat blowout...The one loss on West Virginia's record is to Virginia Tech, and it was a fucking 34-17 smacking...And Virginia Tech is not that nice to begin with, so...Keep that in perspective as you view the list of teams that WV has played...None of them w/the exception of VTech are even close to being in the top 25...

Key Stat: Georgia has lost 2 games...Both games, they were without DJ Shockley...If he is alive and healthy, they are going to kill this team...

I am a big 10 guy so I have to go with Penn State and Ohio State. I will pick Texas just because I have never been a fan of USC and what is the other game??? oh yeah Georgia will win. When in doubt pick the SEC team.

I cannot believe that Oregon did not make a BCS bowl. That pisses the shit out of me. This is the second year (2001 was the first) that they've gotten screwed. I hate this fucking system

The Pac 10 needs a championship game...That's all there is to it...But I would love to have seen Oregon in the BCS in the spot of a team like, say, FSU...We'll see how the games end up though...

the Pac 10 has one......USC won the conferance outright by going undefeated though...

GREAT post ayhja....key stats were incredible.. if you researched those...kudos to you..

Im with you.....Im not gonna cry on gameday again when USC STOMPS my pick again lmao....gotta go USC....

Penn State vs FSU......Penn State..

ND vs Ohio State.....if Carpenter is out....then it disrupts the linebacking crew...and I'll go ND...

Georgia........I'll go West Virgina.....gotta have at least one upset..

Oh, you know I'll break my back pulling up stats to prove a point, LoL...I hate being wrong that much, that even when I am wrong, I like to be able to rationalize...

Damn, if I had to pick an upset game....Man...I'd go FSU over Penn State...FSU has that D...And even though they are hard pressed to have some offense at times...They found a way to terroize VTech, and their nimble footed QB...Robinson will have to prove he's no Marcus Vick...An oxymoron if I've ever heard one...

Penn State beats FSU (age over beauty - JoPa vs. Bobby B.)
Georgia beats WVU (West Virginia in a BCS bowl??)
ND beats OSU (Bill Belichick helps Charlie Weiss with the game plan)
USC beats Texas (in a shocker, the final score is 6-3, with the chubby USC kicker booting a 54 yard game winner as the clock expires)
