Aemeth.....this is by no means said with any malice.......but rapping isnt for you.
Writing, your skills are on point...........your voice doesnt lend itself to audio......flow, presence....it cant be taught. You dont have natural flow....you can make it sound good....for a guy who is turning text to audio....but thats about it. the flow is never at a level high enough to make your track enjoyable without reading the lyrics along with it...... You presence...as is the case with many white rappers....just doesnt come across on a track. you sound like you're forcing the way you sound.....and your words dont have that crispness to them.
I know you're not a professional....you dont have a production crew with you.....but my ears hear something who is average at normal.....to me....audio is a waste of time for you....and myself frankly....

I won't even go that far...I think given time and proper equipment, you could be good...Your problem is production...You need melodies...They will help you find your flow...You need some DJ Quik type beats, some MUSIC...Beats do nothing for you...Your problem IMO, is production...Find a melody, slow down your rhymes...Relax...The forced type sound is because you trying to keep w/the beat...Melodic, subtle, let that shit get butter...
It is very, very hard for a lyricist to cross over...You have to find the best way to get your message down...
Melody: Ras Kass - Anything Goes
Something laced w/an RnB sample son...Thass what you need...I can upload that track I mentioned, and a couple more if you want...Like:
The AYHJA Inc. Intro I use for my video clips... (800 KB)

Uh.. thanks for that, AYHJA..
Sounded a bit.. weird.. LoL, but then again, it was 20sec, and it have melody..
Please, don't judge my music preference, it's already bad enough as it is, LoL
But Aemeth, both LG and AYHJA have quite valid points, I do suggest to listen to at least something they say, whether or not you follow it is your business, but you DID ask them for their opinions, LoL

Ok guys, we established last time that a $30 radioshack mic and a bootlegged program don't get you an A+ for production..but how was it compared to my other tracks? What did you think of the lyrics? Etc.

try to reword the parts that are hard to spit. some of them words back into each other.
AYHJA thinks you need new beats. i will go one more. you need to learn how to deliver; i.e. project your voice.
i can hear in your voice, you don't even breathe with full lungs when you spit. you sound damn tired, and your voice sounds like you afraid to drop.
scream more... sing loudly.... get loud and breathe deep. that will give your voice resonance.

and for the record you have not done better than "Truth" which is the best thing i have heard from you to date.
if you cleared some speed bumps out of the lyricss filled some of the void with some accompanyment... and projected your voice, that track would be the start of something great.

Projection is very VERY hard to teach man....I said presence on a track.....which is set up by the projection........I think your tips are a step in the right direction....but this is a loooonnnng road...

Emotional content...
I know you need help w/beats, but I whipped out some shit on a PS2 that could rival that...Man, you gotta find some instrumentals...Fuck if you've heard teh beats before...I know that is hard to do though, cause you want to sing the song the beat came from...But you gotta try...I honestly can't even hear you, partially becaue I know your lyrics are nice, and I'm not worried about tthat...
I'm so disusted by the beat, i can't hear the music and lyrics...The beat actually takes away from everything you're doing...
Rememer Canabis..? WICKED fucking lyricst..? Remember the two albums he dropped..? Cause I sure as hell don't...That was his issue...You popped in his album, you know the lyrics gone be crazy, but the beats are so damn.... ** UGH ** you can't even listen to the shit...I bought and sold that cd on the spot, the same day I got it...
Don't be a statistic...

Aemeth will never be anything more than a statistic in the rap game.......and thats not hate...thats not uneccisary shit talking to start a flame.....thats real..... I'm not hating on what you're doing......I'm trying to ground you to the fact that the rap industry will not be you career....and if thats your only goal, which im SURE its not....then you're in trouble.
