So, last night I watched Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve like always, except this year it was, well...creepy. I think i's awesome that he got back on his feet so fast after what, a stroke? That's really encouraging. However, his speech was different and just creepy. Did anyone else have a hard time watching him?

Yeah, it was the topic of conversation around our house too.

Like you said it was nice to him at least somewhat healthy, but there are certain times when you should just hang it up .........it was painful to watch.

I don't think I even knew, or if I did I had forgotten it, that he had a stroke. I saw a replay of part of that on the news this morning and it was pretty bad to watch. He's done well with his recovery though.

It was very bad. He sounded like he was wasted. I don't think he should have even done it.

Come on...he's gotta do it. He's Dick Clark. I didn't watch him...I was playing poker all night, but even if his speach is different and sounds creepy, he's gotta do it just because he's Dick Clark

Ryan Seacrest.

QUOTEABC and Clark's production company this year made plans to keep the show alive when Clark can no longer do it, signing \"American Idol\" host Ryan Seacrest as his successor.

He's not Dick Clark. He's an old man that needs to retire.
