Nobody has seen it? I hope I didn't skip this topic, but this was a great film. Probably the best film of 2005. At least in the top 3. I'd also include Crash and Serenity in my top movies of 2005.

Most boring first 45 minutes of any film that I have ever seen. Most overkilled dinosaur vs giant ape scene I have ever seen.

Two thumbs way down.

Man, I heard it was shit too...Kong and the lady doing love shit...I would only watch it to see Kong give it to some dinos, and jdog just said that was shit...Damn, I might not even watch the bootleg now...

King Kong is easily the best movie of 2005!

King Kong was alright until that monkey stared playing in the snow with that chick... After that, KIng Kong became King of the Lames...

I thought it was pretty good, definitely one of the most enjoyable movies of 2005.

absolutely the biggest, overhyped piece of crap i've seen in a while...totally disappointed....

I liked it.

but then I also liked the B&W original.

of course, I also had a vested interest in liking it....member of my family had a part in bringing it to the screen, so curiosity was an inducement.

but that aside, it was a great adventure movie and delivered enough pathos to empty several tissue boxes.

I liked it. Not the BEST movie, but then neither was SW.....but certainly in the top ten.

I'm downloading King Kong right now... but after reading this thread I may cancel it. lol
