anybody hanging lower than the Mason dixon know at least four people in this film personally.
and might be two of em.
that's real. I get damn tired of the bullshit in the south, but damn if this didn't make me homesick for a minute.
my papaw had a friend who was a pimp, and that man drove a LTD. that's el tee dee, and he'd drop ya if you called it a "limited."
Lots To Do, he'd say... and smile.
great movie, great music, great ending, great story, great characters, great character flaws.

lol you stay hatin' Denzel.......I just like his presence on the screen...regarldess of its the same presense in every movie....hes got starpower....if I'm casting for a role that Denzel can play....he gets the part.....Fishburn is more veristile...I know and will admit to that...but Denzel sells tickets..... and TH has been great in everything I've seen him in...

You got that right LG, his character "Q" in The Best Man might be my favorite character of all time in any movie...But I'm not hatin' on Denzel, but he is the black Keanu Reeves...I think I am salty though, for him having gotten shafted for playing Hurricane Carter so well, and then winning for a shitty movie like Training Day...That's like giving Jamie Foxx a pat on the back for Ray, and then giving him an Oscar for In Living Color...
But anyway, this movie was surpisingly good, and I really, really dug it...I didn't go see it in the theather's cause I thought John Singleton directed it...I almost loathe his films...I was surprised to see that the director for HnF was a southern white guy from Memphis...And I was like, "Ahh, no wonder it didn't suck..." I kept thinking I was gonna get to a part where I was ready to turn the movie off, but it didn't come...
My favorite part though, was when the skinny white guy came over and they hooked the beat up...Man, that scene had GREAT energy...I remember having a studio like that in college man...We recorded some raw ass shit there...
