Apparently some kids in california don't think they should be unable to graduate, just because they failed to pass Math and English portions of their final exam twice. So what do they do about it,.. sue the state, of course!

Stupid California Dept of Education thinking kids shouldn't graduate just because they can't pass BOTH the math and English sections of their exams. And what kind of discriminatory test has all the questions in English, anyways???

I looked at the questions released for the test, and for the life of me, I can not figure out how 20% of california's kids can't pass it. It looks like the same kinda questions we had. some of them require you to think, and not everyone did well, but no one actually FAILED them except the very mentally inept.

is n7+3 < 17 that hard to understand?

Well, maybe if they spent a little less time tokin' the reefer and a little more time hittin the books... lol

The point of an exam is to test your knowledge about the material taught... asshats!

We have the exit exams here in Florida and when they were first instituted, there was a lot of hoopla about them, but I think most everyone sees the benefit of them now. What's the purpose of graduating someone with a HS diploma who can't do simple English and Math?

^^what did that say? no...just playing. I wrote that to my boss. It took him 3 hours to figure it out.

How the hell are you gonna make it in the world if you cannot pass a stupid test like that? Come on....

It's not the school's fault that the kids fuck off in class and don't study. Seriously, they want money for being dumb as shit. It's ridiculous what people sue over.

Although, in my town, I can't wait until the school system gets sued and loses because a kid got hit by a car walking to school because their family couldn't afford the newly-instated subscription bussing. We don't have sidewalks in many parts of town. Some families can't afford $250 for a bus seat. Some roads are extremely busy, especially when school is getting in. Coincidentaly, those roads rarely have sidewalks.

Oh well, it's getting late and I better get to bed.
