So, has anyone ever watched this show? In my opinion, it's probably one of the best comedies on TV, if not the best. It's unfortunate that it was cancelled after 3 seasons.

I own the first season, and I just picked up the second season today.

Michael Bluth, a widower with a 13-year-old son, named George-Michael, is forced to keep his large and dysfunctional family together after his father is arrested for shifty accounting practices at the family-owned conglomerate and the Bluth family assets are frozen. Michael's snobbish mother, Lucille, finds herself living alone in a penthouse without the financial means to maintain it, while Michael's two brothers, GOB and Buster, and his sister Lindsay with her husband Tobias and her daughter Maebe also find themselves having to recreate their lifestyles to fit their new financial status.

It's funny 'cause as the show goes on, you find out that the dad was doing business deals with Saddam Hussien. LOL

I haven't heard of it before...Sitcoms and such are hard pressed to keep my attention...If it's not Oz or Sopranos, or maybe some other HBO shows, you won't really catch me in a fit to watch it...I may download an episode tho, on your recommendation...

It's a damn travesty that despite wide critical acclaim and a loyal (but small, dammit) fanbase the show just never got going with a wide viewership. Fox has a long history of screwing up and cancelling great shows (Family Guy, Futurama, Firefly, etc.), and I think a similar thing happened with Arrested Development, with Fox downsizing their second season order and then downsizing their third season order even more and removing it from their schedule for awhile a couple times and then finally airing the final four episodes opposite the opening ceremonies of the winter olympics. As funny as AD episodes are the first time watching them, it's amazing how many jokes I completely miss until I view the episodes a second or third time. The final four episodes of the third season aired here last week and I've already watched them 3 times. As sad as it is that the show is now over, they wrapped things up beautifully.

I saw one episode with Julia Louis-Drefuss in it, it was hilarious!

She was a lawyer pretending to be blind, and chasing this guy breaking into her house while keeping up the act, and also having to pretend her blindness in court etc. (you could see some of the Elaine Marie Benes come through her in that role)

I finally got around to buying the third season today. I now have all the seasons. This is by far one of my favourite shows.

I found a clip on YouTube. It has some of Gob's best scenes. Hilarious... lol

My wife and I just started watching reruns of this show on cable....and it is absolutely hilarious. I guess I've been in a cave(or hooked on porn) for the last couple of years, because I never paid any attention to the show. Definately worth checking out.
