Yes, I own both and LOVE them both. I actually think the 2nd one is the better of the two which is a cinematic rarety. Highly recommended. Two thumbs up.

Thought the first one was decent, didn't care much for the second one. It went completely off track I thought.

It was no longer about transporting... it was about him saving a kid from some drug lords, then stopping some drug lords...

The first one was about transporting. He was transporting the Asian woman, plus you had the human trafficking. I just felt like they went off course with the second movie. That's not to say it didn't have some wicked fight scenes.

i agree with krAY-FISH.
the second one lacked what the first one had. I felt like I was watching the bastard crack baby rip-off born of Man on Fire and the Rock.
the bad guys were the absolute worse ever, and that crazy bitch was rediciulously horrible, and incompetent. The detective was completely underused, and the fight scenes seemed completely contrived, and the whole movie seemed patched together to make an excuse for the fight scenes. the undertone of the family was annoying as hell, and the kid was cardboard.
the first was great. the acting was well done, the situation between him and the girl was interesting,.. the detective was a worthy advesary, and the villian was really sensible, all together. the villian in the second, who juiced himself with the antidote,.. um, dialysis is not a process that leaves you capable of driving, much less fighting.
Tran2 is the only movie i have seen J.S. in that i did not enjoy start to finish.
