Men's Group Seeks Reproductive Rights For Both Genders

So, a woman has the right to choose, and can not be forced or coerced by legislation or incentive to have a child, or abort a fetus in a perfect "pro-choice." The window for this should be limited to the terms that it can be safely done, and not have adverse effects on the woman.
NOW, a Men's right group is arguing that if indeed both a male and female are responsible for the creation of a child, and the woman is absolved of all social and financial responsibility of motherhood for no other reason more severe than her preoccuation or perogative, then does it not also stand to reason that a male should also be able to absolve himself by right of perogative or preoccupation of the social and financial repsonsiblity commonly associated with the role of Fatherhood? Why should he be coerced into a situation where a woman would be able to have a child come into the world he does not want, and why should he be expected to provide any social or financial responsibility to the woman and/or child he does not want, and would abort if he had the exclusively female right of decision?
Philosophically, the ruling they pursue is the same term of choice a woman should be extended (on a timely basis, not forced by coersion or incentive) to notify the pregnant woman that he will or will not enter into a role of social or financial responsibility for the fetus, pregnant woman, mother, or child. A woman's choice to be a mother can not be extended to interfere with a man's choice to be a father, or there is ONLY incentive for a woman to "trap" men into the role of Father.
The woman still has the right to the child's existence, but not the right to entrap the father with an unwanted child.

On March 9, 2006 The National Center For Men will file suit in a United States district court in Michigan on behalf of a man's right to make reproductive choice, to decline fatherhood in the event of an unintended pregnancy. We will call our lawsuit Roe vs. Wade for Men. TM
More than three decades ago Roe vs. Wade gave women control of their reproductive lives but nothing in the law changed for men. Women can now have sexual intimacy without sacrificing reproductive choice. Women now have the freedom and security to enjoy lovemaking without the fear of forced procreation. Women now have control of their lives after an unplanned conception. But men are routinely forced to give up control, forced to be financially responsible for choices only women are permitted to make, forced to relinquish reproductive choice as the price of intimacy.
