Ok, this quote has been driving me insane for the last few days. I keep repeating it, but I can't remember what movie it's from.

The line goes: "Well, like my daddy used to say, 'the world needs ditch diggers, too.'"

Someone told me it was from Caddyshack... but I don't understand how it can be from that movie. I've never seen it before, so how would I know a line from it? lol

I'm going crazy... lol

It's easy to have a quotable stuck in ur head from a movie you've never seen....I haven't seen caddyshack nor do I recognize that quote....so I can't be of much help to ya here...

Yep Caddyshack it is. Best I can remember Danny was trying to get the judge to give him a scholarship and told the judge he always wanted to go to college then the judge popped off with that.
