Yahoo! account temporarily disabled???

#1

Post by kurgan2001 »

Hey all .. I woke up this morning to find that my Yahoo! account has been temporarily disabled .. for my own protection it says when I try to reset the password. Has this happened to anyone else and if so did you get your account back or did you have to start fresh with a new account?

I went ahead and created a new account, but I'm hoping my main account will be restored soon. Questions and comments on how to handle this? Oh I've already used the feedback form and so far all I've got is an automated response .. there isn't any way to talk to a LIVE human on that .. I've looked high and low for a way to.

Yahoo is INFAMOUS for their callous treatment of its service users...Which really and truly stinks...I'm looking into some...Interesting Yahoo tactics myself, if I discover anything useful, I will be sure to let you know...

I don't usually use Yahoo any more except for fantasy sports. I've never had that happen to me before. Sorry man

I've never had a problem with Yahoo except for them deleting groups I was a member of. I even had trouble deleting an account that my 2nd ex had set up in my name. They didn't want to do it because I didn't have the password. I had to threaten legal action before they would do anything.
