if anything else,

he has solidified the fact that majority vote is not the same as electoral vote; the true qualifier for presidential office.

he has established that the enemies of mankind are defined by their actions, not their ideas

he has forced leadership to be responsible for more than administration.

I think he's been reminded that his popularity was based on the fact that a lot of North Americans were scared shitless and were desperate for anyone to "do something" which he did, and what a beautiful mess it's been.

QUOTEhe has established that the enemies of mankind are defined by their actions, not their ideas.
That, he has.

QUOTEhe has forced leadership to be responsible for more than administration.
Responsibility is a concept this administration should know all to well at this point, considering the amount of scandals it seems to be involved in. More and more people seem to want answers to the sketchy "findings" from 9/11, years after the fact. Members of the 9/11 comission went on "Meet The Press"to pretty much assure everyone that nothing much has or will be done to prevent future attacks, and that December is most likely a decent "close the book" time of year.
Karl Rove, puppetmaster-in-chief, is still under investigation over the Valerie Plame affair. "Scooter"Libby, Cheney's chief-of-staff, indicted over the same case, a CIA leak, does anyone even KNOW where the VP is?.
Katrina...man oh man...FEMAs director is forced to resign, of course noone would EVER know he was THE WORST candidate for the job, had it not been for the fact that he pretty much proved it..."heckuva job" indeed.
Rumors of CIA facilites in Eastern Europe. This administration's stand on the Kyoto agreement on global warming, or world trade agreements for that matter.

Bush seems to me now what he seemed to me back then, a clueless kid who got invited to a party where only the big nuts hang, this feels like one of those afterschool specials about the innocent kid wanting to belong. Innocent meaning clueless, not blameless. His dad was MUCH better at these games, a dick rather than an asshole.

And all of that's just the tip of the iceberg I'm afraid. There will be stuff coming out about this administration for years to come...

that is a great pic...

so you're telling me that none of you are worried about how many troops have died in Iraq since dubya started the"war on terror"? and those men and women won't be coming home until bush is out of office in 2009 at the earliest? that doesn't scare the shit out of anyone?

btw, did anyone else hear that when bush interrupted the sunday TV schedule a couple weeks ago to talk about his dumbass war, he described the war in Iraq as the greatest war ever, or something along those lines? i thought that was hilarious and really scary at the same time...
