Down w/the BCS..!

#1

Post by AYHJA »

Everybody knows the BCS sucks ass, should have started a playoff long ago, I think even the non-D1 schools have a playoff...Fuck man, guys can still have their bowl games, let us just get some college football up through December already..!

How about Congress is going to have a look...

For example, Southeastern Conference champion Auburn was undefeated in 2004 but was shut out of the BCS title game, which matched USC against Oklahoma. Utah also finished the season undefeated but could not play for the title.

That shit must stop....

I agree totally. If colleges can have b-ball championships, why not football. I know they're different sports and all and supposedly (LOL) b-ball isn't a contact sport, but still...

Yes, the system is screwed-up, but do we really want Congress trying to fix it.
Let's just put the top 4 teams in a 2 bracket tourney and be done with it.

We need a playoff system but don't let Congress step in. It's not their territory and it's just gonna mess things up. The commishes of the leagues needs to decide that a playoff system would be better and go from there.
"If there were no eternal consciousness in a man, if at the bottom of everything there were only a wild ferment, a power that twisting in dark passions produced everything great or inconsequential; if an unfathomable insatiable emptiness lay hid beneath everything, what would life be but despair?"
