QUOTE(AYHJA)Yeah, DD, you're old enough to remember the real muscle car days...Damn, I would have love to been around to see the days when the 426 HEMI of '69owned everything in its path...What they have done with the modern day HEMI is a complete work of art...0-60 in 5.0 in a station wagon..? Yeah, I think I'll take some of that...
I had a friend in HS who had a Dodge Charger bored out to 460 something, dual quad carbs (days of .20 gas), 70s on the front 50s in back, cut-out switches for the tail and brake lights... We'd take that mother out on the Interstate right before it was completed (roadway laid, but just not officially opened yet). Felt like a fucking jet fighter hitting the afterburners when he'd stand on the pedal. He could be going 55 and stomp on it and still lay rubber. Ahhh the good old days. That's the fastest car I've ever been in... went 150 mph in it and it had room to go.

Man, those Chargers could hit 200..!! I am a big fan, shit, that 426 HEMI was so lethal NASCAR all but outlawed it...My uncle had one, said he got his up to about 150 and it had room to roll still...Said that scared him, and he sold it, LoL...My cousin has a Charger, and man, i want that bitch BAD...
raum, you know I love you...But you will NEVER get me in a car with you that has anything like a HEMI...Especially if it looks like this one:

HO...LEE...SHIT..! Is that not the prettiest thing ever..?!?! 6.1 Liters of pure kick ass..!!!! And with the Multiple Displacement System (MDS) the new HEMI"s have they are even good on gas now, thus making it the perfect engine...

I am saving for my car as we speak. this is one of my options:
for color, I am thinking rose gold flecked, and midnight blue trim...
if xen wanna get on and here and let us see it in that color scheme, and help me work out the trim on my car, I would oblige.
i will need to get a car soon, and why not a BEAST that blazes like the sun?
i might even tip it up.
does this come ragtop? a ragtop hemi-charger...
Ty, you wanna ride wit me?
i don't buy nothing without seeing the stats though... so it will be a minute.

The stats for these new Mopars, especially the SRT-8 models...The Jeep Grand Cherokee, The Charger, and The Magnum...All get rave reviews...This little puppy right here though...Man, it is made to outrun cops...The interior is elegant old school...I love it...

Every new concept car I see from Dodge is really a headturner lately. If only GM could catch up to them.
